The 2025 Smart Water Grid International Conference is Republic of Korea’s only international academic event dedicated to smart water management, focusing on the exchange of innovative solutions for AI-based water technologies, digital transformation, carbon neutrality, and climate crisis response.
This conference addresses complex environmental challenges such as climate change, carbon neutrality, air and marine pollution through integrated discussions on academic research, technological development, and policy strategies. The program centers on advanced applications of technologies including digital twins, AI-based forecasting, and smart water networks.
Key discussion topics include:
flood and drought management, smart water supply and wastewater systems, water treatment and river basin management, water resource monitoring and survey technologies, carbon-neutral urban infrastructure, smart rainwater management, smart farms and the water–energy nexus, air quality and marine environmental protection, and microplastic reduction.
The conference aims to revitalize research in the smart water grid sector, expand collaboration across academia, industry, government, and research institutions, and build a sustainable water–climate–environment governance framework. Experts and practitioners from countries including France, Spain, China, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, and Vietnam will gather to share global trends and real-world implementation cases.
